Project Update and Checking In

Origami Vintage Dresses

One project I am trying to complete is sets of handmade Invitations and Thank You cards.  The base is hand tea dyed large index cards with these vintage origami dresses as the focal point.  I really love these adorable dresses!


Below is a sneak peek at my first digital kit I have created.  I never thought of myself as a teacher, but the Lord has shown me I might have a gift for it.  I spent a couple of months homeschooling with four of my grandkids and learned quite a lot while studying with them.  If you are interested I will be sharing all about this wonderful experience on my Virtuous Ventures website blog.  I will be sharing some lessons I created, and insights into what I learned.  My Virtuous Ventures blog is inspired by the Proverbs 31 woman of the Bible.  She is an amazing lady!  I hope you read about her and get inspired yourself by all the fabulous attributes of a woman that loved the Lord, her family, and others.  Here is the link to the blog, please go check it out! Virtuous Ventures Blog


Sneak peek at my first Digital Kit inspired by the book Charlotte's Web by E.B. White


My four grandkids ranged in age from Elementary to Middle School, so I selected the book "Charlotte's Web" authored by E.B. White to study and read with them.  I had read the book as a child and really loved the story of Fern and Wilbur and his best friend Charlotte.

2022 Update

 Wow, it has been a few minutes since my last post!  Life has been a definite roller coaster this past year, but all glory be to God for all things!  I have managed to make a few products this past year, so let me recap. I am always making tassels to sell and use for embellishments for junk journals, this has not changed.  I have started a monthly Tassel Club that you can sign up for.  The cost will be $22 per month.  This is limited to the Continental US and shipping will be free (included in the monthly subscription price).  Each month you will receive a new handmade tassel I create from fabrics, ribbons, and trims.  Sometimes they will have charms.  They will always be attached to a keyring or toggle ring that allows you to attach the tassel to journals, backpacks, purses, etc.  Each month will be a different tassel.  I use themes and seasonal colors and holidays to create my tassels.  I will post pictures below of some I ha...

Vintage Inspired Origami Dress Invitations

  Hello Lovely Friends! I hope all of you had an amazing holiday and new year season, I most definitely enjoyed mine.  Can you even believe it is already a month into 2024, wow time is flying!
