Wow, it has been a few minutes since my last post! Life has been a definite roller coaster this past year, but all glory be to God for all things! I have managed to make a few products this past year, so let me recap.
I am always making tassels to sell and use for embellishments for junk journals, this has not changed. I have started a monthly Tassel Club that you can sign up for. The cost will be $22 per month. This is limited to the Continental US and shipping will be free (included in the monthly subscription price). Each month you will receive a new handmade tassel I create from fabrics, ribbons, and trims. Sometimes they will have charms. They will always be attached to a keyring or toggle ring that allows you to attach the tassel to journals, backpacks, purses, etc. Each month will be a different tassel. I use themes and seasonal colors and holidays to create my tassels. I will post pictures below of some I have made in the past such as patriotic, tie dye, coffee theme, spring colors, etc. You can sign up on my Buy Me A Coffee channel, it is currently the only place I sell the monthly subscriptions. You can also just support my small business with a donation as well. This is the link https://www.buymeacoffee.com/tonyalea

I also created some fabric flowers that are listed in my Etsy shop. They are so fun and in bright, beautiful fabrics.
For the very first time I tried my hand at making some little slow stitched needle keep books. I like the way they turned out. I used bright fabrics, felt, lace, tulle, threads, and buttons to create them. I made some yo-yos to embellish them. They are totally hand stitched, and imperfect, but I love them. I am sure I will make more in the future. They have been a favorite item in my Etsy shop along with the tassels. Some pictures are below.
I used some magazine pictures to create handmade postcards. I love them! I chose nature pictures, chocolate, buildings, flowers, and more to make fun and beautiful cards backed onto brown paper cardstock. I also used my craft scissors to make stamps from the magazine scraps. They are so fun and cute, and I will be using them to fill journals.
Currently I am working on some vintage pink and white French toile journals with floral fabric pouches. The journals will have tea dyed papers, fabric ruffles, vintage ephemera/stationary, tassels, pockets, tags, and more. The pouches are a pretty floral vintage fabric with a pink satiny liner. Each one has a handmade fabric and button flower stitched on it, and velcro closures. When I have completed them and put them in my shop, I will offer personalized stamped cotton nametags for them. Here are some pictures of them in progress.
So yes, it has been a slower year of creating, but I am getting back into it more as I have adjusted to my retail schedule. I pray everyone has an amazing Christmas and New Year, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING to all of you! Until next time, God Bless.
Sincerely,
Tonya Lea
